Yes, the next step is working on a larger quilted piece. I was happily surprised when the Woodrose pattern was the design of choice for the next project. The flower is found throughout Hawaii and a favorite among the many locals. Can’t wait to see it completed.

Ikumi’s Dove Orchid Hawaiian Quilt
John doesn’t design birds because every time he designs a Hawaiian quilt with birds the quilter, John likes to say, flies or moves back to the mainland.
