Note from Pat: Here’s the latest…it’s called a “reverse” quilt because the pattern is actually cut from the top fabric, sort of like a silhouette, rather than the pattern being cut, then sewn on top of the fabric (sorry, I probably didn’t explain things too clearly, haha). Great Job Linda….. First for completing an amazing quilt and second for using the color black. You brave soul. The Poinciana tree is found through-out the islands. They brighten the roadways and parks with their bright multi-colored blossoms.
