Another Amazing Quilt By Pat
While some of us were taking the holiday weekend off Pat was still quilting away. Another amazing quilt by Pat. The breadfruit/ulu design. Legend says that anyone who finishes a ulu quilt they will not want for anything in life. Congratulations Pat.

I know I just hate it when I have to be the bearer of bad news. No class this week June 13 in honor of Kamehameha Day. We’ll see everyone back at class on June 20. In the meantime congratulations to another quilter who cut out her new 45″ x 45 ulu wall hanging. It’s going…
I”m just calling this the happy quilt because when I look at it I can’t help but smile. Mie was able to use all the leftover scrap fabric from previous quilts. 45″ x 45″ Designed by John Serrao.
Adding your special touch to that commercial design.
The fabric was so gorgeous that we just couldn’t waste it. So John added a lei to the Lei Kukui Nut Design from his “Mai Kalani Mai” Series of Patterns. Don’t be afraid to enhance your commercial design to make it yours. Thank you Rula for letting me share you amazing quilt.
