Every two years we hold a quilt exhibit in conjunction with the Honolulu Festival. It’s an amazing partnership where we can showcase our students quilts at Hawaii’s premier venue, The Hawaii Convention Center. As part of the quilt show the quilters work on special themed quilts or we introduce new patterns. This past quilt show in March 2014 John created the Bible Series patterns; plants mentioned in the Bible and popular in the Middle East.

Anthurium’s a favorite flower for many because of its distinctive heart shaped leaves. After doing the graphics for this quilt I must say it’s going to be one of my favorites. Pattern: 22″x22″ Design by John Serrao
Not John’s usual motif but I was looking for a pattern for the St. Valentines Day Holiday. I actually have 3 more to post which he designed. I like this one but its not what I like but what you like as the quilter.
