Natsumikan – Yamaguchi Prefecture

It has been a long, hot and humid summer.  Counting down the days until we leave for Yokohama.  I’m hoping it will be much cooler there than here in the islands.  92 degrees at 7PM but seeing friends and family in October will be a welcomed journey.  To our friends in the Yamaguchi Prefecture here is your designated flower… the blossom of the Natsumikan. (Mandarin Blossom). John made this design using the quarter fold versus the an eighth fold.240px-OrangeBloss_wb   250px-Map_of_Japan_with_highlight_on_35_Yamaguchi_prefecture.svg

Building Renovation Kanaina Building

February 19, 2017February 19, 2017
Aloha Everyone, We were all  aware that the Kanaina Building was scheduled for renovations a year ago.  We are closer to the renovation date so we will be on a week to week notice for the quilting classes.  Please keep checking weekly for an updated status.  We will be there through the month of March but haven't gotten any update for the month of April.  We have found a temporary home when the renovations begin and will let you know when the time gets closer.. Thank you for your patience.   Cissy

Please mark your calendar March 25, 2017.
